I'm hoping to do blog posts a little more frequently so I don't bombard people with a blog post like last time but who knows what my schedule will be like in the future!
Anyways! This weekend the fiestas started and Karen and I watched the procession on Friday and then on Sunday we went to Segovia (about 2.5 hours away...essentially a suburb of Madrid).
The procession was super cool and I thought the little kids that were in it were super cute too! Here are some pictures and a video!
On Saturday I mostly just rested and did some homework and whatnot but Karen and I went for a walk in the park that's next to our apartment and got pastries at the local pastelería!
Then on Sunday we went to Segovia! Segovia has soo much history and as much as I'm not a history person this was actually pretty interesting =] Some more pics!
